China on Monday stated it is able to work with Pakistan to hold ahead their “iron-clad friendship” and additional deepen the bilateral all-weather strategic cooperative partnership.
Condoling the demise of Pakistan’s former president Gen Pervez Musharraf, International Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning described the previous dictator as “an previous good friend” of the Chinese language folks.
Musharraf, Pakistan’s final navy ruler, died on Sunday in Dubai after a chronic sickness. The 79-year-old retired common, was dwelling within the UAE since 2016 on self-exile.
“Former President Musharraf was an previous good friend of the Chinese language folks. He made necessary contribution to China-Pakistan relations. We deeply mourn the passing of Mr Musharraf and lengthen our honest sympathies to his household,” Mao stated in response to a query at a daily Chinese language international ministry briefing.
“China stands able to work with Pakistan to hold ahead our iron-clad friendship, deepen the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership, and advance the constructing of an excellent nearer China-Pakistan neighborhood with a shared future within the new period,” she added.
Chinese language and Pakistani leaders usually describe the bilateral ties as “iron-clad” and “all-weather”.
Pakistan considers China as one in all its closest buddies and associate and China considers Pakistan as its “Iron Brother”, Pakistan’s embassy in Beijing says on its web site.
