The premier of Australia’s most populous state confessed Thursday that he wore a Nazi uniform at his twenty first celebration, saying he was “deeply ashamed”.
Premier Dominic Perrottet, the conservative head of New South Wales, mentioned he was prompted to make the admission after receiving a name about it from a colleague two days earlier.
“After I was 21, I had my twenty first fancy gown social gathering. I wore a Nazi uniform,” Perrottet introduced to the media.
“I’m deeply ashamed of what I did and I’m actually sorry for the damage and the ache that this may trigger folks proper throughout our state and significantly members of the Jewish neighborhood, Holocaust survivors, veterans and their households,” he mentioned.
