In a hard-hitting assault on AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal following his remarks about occasion leaders, Congress on Wednesday termed him “mouthpiece for the BJP” and alleged that he had “labored out an understanding” with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
In a press release, Congress basic secretary Jairam Ramesh stated that Ajmal had made “most unacceptable and completely bogus remarks” towards occasion leaders in Assam.
