Brasilia:
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva stated on Wednesday his intelligence companies failed on Jan. 8, when Brasilia buildings had been stormed by supporters of far-right former President Jair Bolsonaro.
“We made an elementary mistake, my intelligence didn’t exist (that day),” Lula informed TV channel GloboNews in an interview. “We have now Military intelligence, Air Pressure intelligence, ABIN (Brazil’s Intelligence Company); none of them warned me.”
