Moscow:
The Kremlin stated on Monday it was not ruling out Russian President Vladimir Putin attending a summit of leaders of the Group of 20 (G20) developed and rising economies on Sept. 9-10 in New Delhi.
Putin has but to journey past the borders of the previous Soviet Union since sending his armed forces into Ukraine in February final 12 months, and missed November’s G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia.
Requested whether or not Putin would possibly attend the Delhi summit, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov informed reporters:
“It could possibly’t be dominated out. Russia continues to take part totally within the G20 framework. It intends to proceed to do this. However no choice has been made but.”
