Taiwan will purchase as many as 400 U.S. land-launched Harpoon missiles within the face of rising menace from China, Bloomberg Information reported on Monday, citing a commerce group’s chief and other people accustomed to the problem.
A contract with Boeing that the U.S. Naval Air Methods Command issued on Taiwan’s behalf marks the primary time the island will get the cell, land-launched model, the report mentioned citing Rupert Hammond-Chambers, president of the US-Taiwan Enterprise Council.
