Indian, French Rafale Jets To Fly Together As 'Orion' Military Exercise Begins

This could be the primary abroad train for the IAF’s Rafale plane.

France and India are all set to begin navy train ‘Orion’ at Mont-de-Marsan, an Air Power base of the French Air and Area Power (FASF) in the present day.

Taking to Twitter, France Ambassador Emmanuel Lenain mentioned, “France warmly welcomes the @IAF_MCC contingent that can participate in train #Orion2023 from in the present day! French & Indian #Rafale jets will quickly fly collectively within the skies of France.”

The train shall be performed from 17 April to 05 Might 2023, with the IAF Contingent comprising 4 Rafale, two C-17, two ll-78 plane and 165 air warriors. This could be the primary abroad train for the IAF’s Rafale plane, based on the assertion launched by Defence Ministry.

“In addition to the IAF and the FASF, Air Forces from Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Spain and the USA would even be flying on this multilateral train.
