Sudan Disaster: The EU Ambassador in Sudan was assaulted in his personal residency, the highest diplomat stated.

The European Union ambassador to Khartoum was attacked in his house in Khartoum on Monday, the bloc’s prime diplomat Josep Borrell stated, as preventing between rival generals gripped Sudan.
“A number of hours in the past, the EU Ambassador in Sudan was assaulted in his personal residency,” Borrell wrote on Twitter, with out detailing any accidents to the envoy.
“Safety of diplomatic premises and workers is a major accountability of Sudanese authorities and an obligation underneath worldwide regulation,” he added.
