Two extra arrested in connection to slaying of Bronx teen

Two extra teenagers have been busted in connection to the revenge killing of a 16-year-old boy within the Bronx — a part of a “main gang warfare” within the borough over the summer time, cops mentioned Friday. 

The suspects — 19 and 16 — have been arrested in connection to the capturing demise of Ramon Gil-Medrano in Mount Hope on July 11, in a retaliatory hit for the slaying of a 13-year-old rival gang member, Jaryan Elliot, hours earlier, police mentioned. 

Hasib Cutts, 19, was busted inside a Bronx condo constructing Aug. 19, and has been charged with homicide, manslaughter and felony posession of a firearm, police mentioned.

Weeks later, a 16-year-old boy, whose title has not been launched due to his age, was picked up early Sept. 10 at LaGuardia Airport, after he was extradited from South Carolina, authorities mentioned. 

He was hit with the identical prices, along with felony possession of a loaded firearm, cops mentioned. 

Two different suspects have been beforehand charged in connection to Gil-Medrano’s homicide, police mentioned. 

A 15-year-old suspect, recognized in courtroom data as Alec McFarlane, was arrested in Queens July 17 and charged with second-degree homicide and felony possession of a weapon, police sources advised The Submit.

Lower than two hours later, police busted Mehki Williams, 19, within the Bronx and accused him of being an confederate in Gil-Medrano’s demise, the sources mentioned.

Williams was charged with second-degree homicide, first-degree gang assault, first- and second-degree conspiracy, first-degree reckless endangerment and felony possession of a weapon within the second diploma, police mentioned.

Williams was driving a scooter with a gun-toting McFarlane behind him once they zipped as much as the scene on East 178th Road — with the youthful teen opening fireplace, in keeping with a Bronx courtroom affidavit.
