Newark Airport’s Terminal C was partially evacuated Monday resulting from a safety breach that brought on “important alarm” amongst airport vacationers, officers stated.
A girl allegedly bolted by way of a safety checkpoint and into the concourse earlier than she was detained by legislation enforcement, in response to the Transportation Safety Administration.
Some passengers “self-evacuated” onto the tarmac amid the commotion, TSA stated.
The incident occurred at round 10:20 a.m., in response to the Port Authority, whose officers responded to the incident.
