An enormous fireplace has erupted at an oil pipeline within the western Ukrainian area of Ivano-Frankivsk, injuring three folks, emergency companies mentioned Saturday.

“At 5 p.m. (1400 GMT), close to the village of Strymba, Nadvirna district, an oil pipeline (150 millimetres in diameter) ruptured,” Ukraine’s State Emergency Service mentioned.
It mentioned that the rupture led to an oil spill spanning an space of 100 sq. metres.
The reason for the hearth was not instantly clear, however native media retailers mentioned there had been a strong explosion.
“Rescuers are working on the scene,” the emergency companies mentioned.
